My years in Brooklyn

Ivan Koota I am a retired pediatrician. I started this group of Brooklyn paintings shortly after. It seemed like a reasonable project even though I was self-taught. Well, this "reasonable "project occupied my time and energy for 15 years until I felt the need to stop. I felt I accomplished as much as I needed to do. I then converted all my paintings to prints. The prints still capture the diversity, the color, and the vibrance of Brooklyn as it was when I lived there during the '40s and '50s. It was a project of love and now I can share it with you. I do hope you enjoy the work.
